Employers: What To Do When You Hire a New Employee
In order for CPS to include an employee in your company’s payroll and help ensure that each individual receives a paycheck on the appropriate payday, certain employee information is required. New employees will not be covered under CPS workers’ compensation insurance until CPS is notified of the new hire in writing.
